Power Retreads is a New Zealand business, independently owned and operated by Dave and Christine Leicester.
The focus of the business is manufacturing & distributing light and heavy Truck and Bus Retreads using premium tread rubber from the South American world leader Vipal. Power Retreads also specialise in the retreading of Forklift and small OTR tyres with selected premium treads. Power Retreads operates two North Island Sales & Distribution centres in Auckland and Hastings, with the factory and administration head office also in Hastings. These facilities enable us to supply and service the entire North Island.

Our consumers can be assured that all of our retreads are manufactured under strict quality control with the factory and manufacturing process being certified by Vipal Borrachas to ensure both New Zealand and International standards are met.
About Power Retreads
Power Retreads was started in 1992 due to the demand from independent tyre dealers who were looking for a quality, competitively priced truck retread to suit the New Zealand market and conditions. As the transport industry grew so did the requirement for a greater range of tread patterns for the varying applications that trucks are used for in New Zealand – Logging, On/Off Highway, Stock, Linehaul – plus we also have our specialist Forklift / Industrial and OTR treads.
